Years ago, before electric coffee makers, when folks made coffee it was difficult to drink immediately because it was extremely hot.  Country folks used to pour the coffee into a cup and then pour the coffee from the cup into a saucer.  They would pick up the saucer and blow on the coffee until it was cool enough to drink and drink it straight from the saucer.  This is how the phrase “Saucered and Blowed” originated.  It meant it was done.  It was cool enough to drink.

Over a period of time, “Saucered and Blowed” came to mean completed – everything is done – there is nothing left to do.  The project has been “Saucered and Blowed” has been completed.

Eventually this website will be “Saucered and Blowed”.  It will be done.   The basic design will be completed.

Purpose

Saucered and Blowed started as a content blog and many blogs have been posted.

The blog subjects posted range from sports to the economy and are good articles worth reading.

However, with the state of the economy in today’s world and the pressure many of us are under, we have decided to change the focus of Saucered and Blowed to a site you can come to and relax, enjoy, smile and hopefully leave feeling better than when you came.

We will be posting Power Point presentations, You Tube videos; emails that make you feel good, humorous articles and anything else that fits our criteria.

We would appreciate any comments and suggestions.  Help us make this a site worth visiting on a regular basis and please bare with us as we continue to develop this site.
