Fast food affects you health in many ways. It contains high fat content, has health hazards, causes bad eating habits, and adversely affects employment and agriculture.
Fast food is available on nearly every block, passage, or road that you happen to drive past. This seems to tempt those that have already fallen into bad eating habits. Fast food goes way beyond the average amount of calories that a person should get per day. An average serving of fast food is already half of your required daily calories. This affects nearly everyone because it is constantly causing obesity and diabetes in society today.
A documentary made a few years ago entitled Supersize Me proves how much fast food can affect your body in only a month. It led a healthy man to become an addicted and very unhealthy man. It caused him to gain 10 pounds in 31 days. That is a lot of weight, but it cannot be completely blamed on those that serve fast food. It is the consumer's choice what they buy.
The health hazards or risks include catching a commonly known bacteria called e-coli. This is mostly found is meats because of unsanitary or unhealthy mistakes in the kitchen or when dealing with packaging. Fast food affects agriculture by the slaughtering of too many animals to only be used for burgers and other fatty foods. Fast food also affects employment in a bad way because it pays many workers very low wages.
You can see how fast food affects society and the whole world. It is not good for anyone to consume, and if they do it should not be often. Saying no to fast food can lead a person to a healthy life.
